School of Chinese Language, formerly the Department of Chinese Language, was founded in 1977, along with the founding of JXSTNU.

　　The school offers tertiary diploma programs in ‘Secretarial professionals’ and ‘News Broadcasting and Production’, and BA programs in ‘Chinese Language Studies’, ‘Advertising’, ‘Teaching Chinese as a Second Language’, and in ‘Radio and Television Journalism’. The School has a well-structured academic curriculum and management system. It also has well-equipped teaching and research facilities, including listening laboratories, audio-visual classrooms, resource rooms as well as multimedia equipments in all the classrooms
